Internet/Digital Marketing has its challenges!
When I started Panorama Marketing Group all I did was #EmailMarketing. Back then it was a bit more challenging, but as time went on the technology improved and now it is straightforward. No more emails that fall apart because of the mysteries of HTML.
Then I needed to learn #socialmediamarketing. That was fun. The platforms, especially #Facebook kept changing. But over the past few years, the opportunities have increased. I have achieved much better results.
Add TikTok to the mix, and videos have become crucial. I like TikTok because I can see the results almost immediately. If after five minutes a video has 2 views, something is wrong. Time to tweak. TikTok is not always honest. It says no copyright violations, but after published, TikTok penalized me for copyright infringement. Last time it penalized me for my voice on a video. But still, it is a great way to reach people.
Meta has gone crazy for me (except for one customer and I’m still working on that). One simple video has over 60,000 interactions. That’s crazy! I put it together in about thirty seconds.
But what is frustrating the crap out of me is #SEO. PanoramaMarketingGroup.com simply won’t rank. So, now, the challenge is accepted. This is my priority.
I’ve done all the basics. I am getting messages on my Google Search Console that pages aren’t indexed. I’ve done a little work on that and asked my man in India to work on it.
A normal Internet freelance marketer wouldn’t normally talk about their own marketing failures. But the advantage of being self-employed is that I can do what I want. And what I want to do is take this challenge, this failure, and make it a success.
What I learn from my endeavors I apply to my customers.
Please keep in mind that Internet Marketing has many moving parts. Email, website, social media, video marketing, local listing SEO, SEO in general. My goal is to keep all these parts working to leave the biggest digital footprint possible.
